Acknowledging the fact that slps are not really trained in counseling but that it’s an integral part of therapy is very affirming. Breaking down and giving examples of things to say or approaches to take is also very helpful. I like having real life examples or visual examples to look back on to implement as needed and I felt this was provided throughout the presentation.
