The sections on DTTC and principles of motor learning were good reminders for me. I like that practical resources (such as the method of data collection) were provided. The sample goals helped illustrate appropriate functional target selection; although, I still feel unsure about how to go about selecting targets and wish more time was spend on that facet of therapy planning. Specifically, how to expand sound and syllable repertoire once clients meet criteria for certain functional targets is still unclear to me.

It was very rushed. There were very few examples relating to therapy, especially with the preschool aged child. I don't think that any of the examples that were given in the supplementary handouts were new to preschool clinicians. I also think that at the preschool age child who are apraxic are addressing there ability to work on CV, VC, and CVC sequences. I dont think this course was geared to the preschool population or gave good examples
