Course Objectives
  • Participants will be able to discuss how to phonetically evaluate and treat the various word positions of the 8 /r/ controlled vowels.

  • Participants will be able to write measurable and objective IEP goals for the /r/ phonemes.

  • Participants will be able to differentiate the differences between visual and non-visual /r/ controlled vowels.

  • Participants will be able to identify at least 3 specific articulation techniques to elicit the /r/ phoneme.

  • Participants will be able to outline the benefits of evaluating and treating /r/ phonetically.

30-40 min Evaluation & Intervention of Target Selections

Continuing Education Information

Time will be allowed for interaction between the participants and the presenter.
